Design and training in SWIFTNet development, service provisioning, network and interface installation, service-level agreement. Technical expert on sales calls to CHIPS member-banks. - SWIFTNet FIX o Project Manager: “live in record time”, according to SWIFT internal website. Functional Requirements Specification team. - Sales Force Automation, GEIS o Project Manager, implementation team. Specification, detailed design; part of SIX Sigma project to define and refine sales process within GEIS. - Post-trade Confirmation Matching System: Match-EM, for Brady bonds, developed for Emerging Markets Traders Association (EMTA) o Project Manager: Initial sales presentation, persuaded EMTA to choose GE solution; designed system; led development team, delivered pilot six weeks after "go" decision; represented technical team to operations committee; solved back-office operations inefficiencies uncovered during analysis. - Developed matching systems in two other markets - Bullion Transfer System: Settlement instruction transfer system for precious metals trades developed for a global bank, revolutionized settlement process in London Bullion Market Association. o Project Manager: Using what is now “Agile” methodology, analyzed needs, designed system, led development team, wrote PC front end, delivered beta system six months from contract, production system three months later. - Futures order routing: pre-sales for GE order routing systems, FIMATEX and ORDEX. Staffed booth at industry trade shows; assisted in sale.- Commercial Paper: short-term note issuance systems for issuing agent banks. o Uncovered need at bank; persuaded bank to hire GE to develop system. As PM, designed system, led development team, wrote key modules. o Sold to five other banks.Earlier projects included: - Order entry / order routing system linking customers in Europe to NYSE and DTC ID: perhaps earliest STP system- PUBNET, the US textbook ordering system; among earliest successful EDI systems for a trade association.
