Sensus Competition Team LeaderSensus Student Competition Nov 2015 - Sep 2016Eindhoven, Nl•International University Competition to create a molecular biosensors of creatinine for healthcare applications by combining both molecular technologies and device technologies. •Successfully managed a team of 12 interdisciplinary students from the faculties of biochemistry, bioengineering, chemistry, maths, and physics. As the only team made up of undergraduate students we successfully developed a creatinine biosensor. Alongside the sensor we developed a mobile application which connected via bluetooth for the patients ease of use, we also developed a website so that members of the public could follow the teams progress.•The project culminated in a weekend which consisted of a day of testing 21 samples of blood plasma spiked with creatinine during which specialists in biosensing questioned the viability of the product and its ability to go to market, and a presentation to over 400 members of the public.•http://www.imperialcollege.sensus.org/ -
