My time as a tradesman and small business owner has created a love and passion for both construction and business in general. I believe both can be done at any level, honestly and effectively, that truly benefits both the contractor and consumer. For me, construction and leadership is an excellent opportunity to serve one another, the end user/client and the public alike. I truly believe that success begins with people. Leadership and cohesiveness are essential to growth, with growth as the ultimate goal. Conservatively speaking, we spend half of our lives in the workplace; the quality of life of the individual is crucial to the culture of a business, while great business culture being crucial to that business’s success.I have been blessed with gaining the experience and perspective of both the entry level employee and business owner/employer. During this time, my morals and ethics have been tested and my integrity has stood true. My faith is the basis of every decision and action I take and provides me a set of non-negotiable morals and values which apply perfectly to the mechanics of personal interaction required of any successful supervisor/manager. This makes me what I believe to be, unfortunately, a bygone yet much desired addition to today’s workforce. I place people before myself, while maintaining authority and leading, not managing.
