Trained as a heavy equipment operator and continually training in the planning, contracting, and developing of projects to meet the needs of the DOD. Continual communication between the DOD and contractors.

Inspect, review, and test soils, asphalt paving, concrete, steel, masonry materials, utility placement, sinkhole remediation, and retaining walls in the field pertaining to structural and non-structural construction. Conducts field observation, review, consulting, and remediation. Daily communication is required with site contractors, other technicians and project managers. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to performing on-site compliance inspection, quality assurance and progress monitoring, as well as payment application review at various construction projects for conformance to specifications and codes. Documents construction is completed in accordance with contract plans, blue prints, and specifications, reviews material lists, and permit requirements. Coordinates required materials testing as representative for client on-site providing quality assurance, documentation, cost control, and time management related services. Maintains and reviews comprehensive project records including daily reports, documentation of construction workforce, equipment, materials records, inspection reports, project photos, as-built plans, pay quantity records, progress schedules, work orders, and monthly payment estimates. Maintains project correspondence tracking submittals, RFIs, work completed, and actively participates in progress and pre-construction meetings. Account for daily activities with complete daily reports including photos, reference locations, quality control issues, and remediation methods for the project. Personally provide consulting services multiple multi-million dollar projects simultaneously.

Accountable for more than $7,000,000 of Government Equipment, day to day administrative actions for more than 80 soldiers, and directly supervised and managed 15 soldiers. Promoted ahead of peers with waiver to both Sergeant and Staff Sergeant receiving multiple awards (ARCOMs and AAMs). Member of U.S. Army's Excellence in Armor program.
