I am a leader in Architecture. I've help establish and mature architecture practices, from intake to grooming, into execution. My current passion is in the new, and growing space of Business Architecture. After serving in the Navy for 6 years from 89 -95 including deployment during Desert Storm, I found my niche in the programming world.I started out in Cobol and CICS with DB2 and some assembler. Then taught myself HTML and css and javascript which lead to learning Java and sql. I then switched to vb.net and moved to c# .net working on web apps, web sites. building windows and web services, wcf services and restful APIS. Taking that programming background, I moved into architecture. Solution and technical, and then moving to enterprise and business architecture. I have experience establishing architecture practices in manufacturing and retail companies. I enjoy working with the business and IT to help them understand how the biz and tech roadmaps merge together to form a enterprise roadmap. From capability mappings to process flow, connecting the dots from strategy to execution.I have experience in SAFe methodology, how to apply it within IT and the business side. And how to properly involve architecture in the mix. I have worked with all areas of the business and understand their high level processes. From Sales, Service and Marketing... and also manufacturing and supply chain.I enjoy engaging with the business, to help them understand and realize their strategy and processes, and help create them or make them realistic. And help them build a roadmap and plan the programs and projects to bring the strategy to reality.
