I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with the Nez Perce Tribe since June of 2008 with the Water Resources Division as the Utilities Planner then in 2012 as the Water Resources Planner up until the end of 2015. In 2016, I gained the education and certifications to take on a new position as the Tribe's Emergency Management Planner, and in 2023 my experience allowed me to be rehired as the Tribe's Emergency Management Planning Coordinator. My activities are intradisciplinary, whereas I associate with Tribal Departments, Regional North Central Idaho Emergency Management, FEMA region 10 (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska), and National efforts for emergency planning. I am dedicated to enhancing the Nez Perce Tribal organization through representation, partnerships, coordination, and participation on Tribal emergency management issues.
