Experience with Toray has included plastic extrusion, irradiation, and foaming lines with sheet handling and conversion. Previously , I was a Capital Project Engineer leading several projects, from minor conveyor and piping system changes to strategic investment planning, replacing old equipment, and building new facilities and packaging lines. Additionally, I was continuing to support drives, PLC's, safety systems and Networking at the plant. I have worked with predominately Allen-Bradley/Rockwell products including FTBatch and Studio Designer systems, multiple networked and stand alone drive upgrades, Electronic Safety Systems, Electrically Classified wiring including IS and purged enclosures. I also support the robotic depalletizing and palletizing system for which I led the installation. I take pride in being active on the floor for start ups and when failures require some additional resources while also interfacing with all levels of the plant from corporate management to floor level operations. In my previous employment in the paper industry.:Electrical, PLC Controls, and Reliability Engineering experience on both virgin and recycled pulping systems as well as containerboard and tissue paper machines. My final paper adventure was a tissue and towel converting greenfield start up taking over the lead for electrical and controls as well as laying groundwork for reliability aspects of maintenance and operations after assisting with installation of three converting lines. Specialties: Allen Bradley PLC Troubleshooting, Machine Specifications, Machine Safety Systems, SIL safety systems, Allen Bradley Drives, Root Cause Analysis, Project Management, Inspection Technologies, Technical Communications at all levels of the organization. Training of operators and technicians. Lock Out Tag Out process development.
