General Music Instructor from prek-6

I do personal training, help start person off with a computer based workout called Activtrax and sub classes for spinning, Pilates and yoga. Yoga is my favorite class to sub for. I've been connected with the YMCA longer than 2009. Back in Indiana I also did the same thing at the Valparaiso YMCA for about 5 years. I also have experience in repairing a lot of experience equipment. i.e. replacing treadmill decks, belts, motors, bearings..............

Guitar and fiddle instructor. The women who work here hook me up with really cool students. Here's a couple of experiences that broke my heart. I had this girl for three years. One time during a lesson I noticed she was doing really well with the blue question and answer. After we were done I noticed she wasn't make good eye contact. I asked if she was ok. She said her dog was sick and had to be put down. After that we went back to old lessons and she could play them with emotion and not timing issues. Another time I had a 83 y.o. student on the fiddle who had a father that played the banjo. He learned the fiddle with no problems. It wasn't me it was his experience that I was allowed to me to introduce him to fiddling.

Keep Track of Data for the Clients working on their ADLs.

Keep track of Clients data, helped them write plans for their ADLs and social needs. Alot of driving them to doctors visits.

The name of our band was decided by a contest. We played in Northwest Indiana and Chicago with two albums, featured on Chicago's Q101 local music showcase twice where we played live in the studio and was on a sampler to benefit a local homeless shelter for women.
