John is an International Automotive Business Professional who possesses 45 years of experience at the manufacturer, dealership and financial services levels, including industry advocacy with governments. John has an in depth knowledge of the Canadian, American and Australian automotive landscapes, including the understanding of manufacturer/importer relationships with both North American and European companies.John has a proven track record in brand building, revenue generation, cost management, organizational design and manufacturer/dealer relations. He started his career with General Motors of Canada Ltd where he held various positions over ten years at General Motors of Canada, GMC Truck Centre, Montreal.John is a past Board Member of the Global Automakers of Canada (GAC) where he served for nine years, including as Chairman from 2008- 2009. John sat for two terms on the Board of Directors for the Automotive Business School of Canada from 2009-2012 and 2016-2019. He is fluent in English and French, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Concordia University in Montreal.
