Planning and delivery of the 2018 Triathlon European Championships at Strathclyde Park.

I share the race directorship of Celtman Extreme Triathlon, in our young life of five years we have already established its credentials as one of the toughest triathlon event in the world, the logistics of the event in a wild and remote area of Scotland are challenging and mean some interesting approaches are required. British Triathlon and Triathlonscotland awarded us event of the year in our inaugural year and we have been shortlisted for Highland tourism awards in the last two years.

New venture into Swim Run endurance.

I joined Historic Scotland with the responsibility for the set up of an in house training and development function, in that my role has been varied and exciting. I have introduced a customer focused training strategy across a varied and diverse organisation. I deliver coaching skills training for our managers and act as an internal executive coach for our senior leadership team. I have a particular strength in the individual approach involved in client centred coaching and enjoy the rewards of seeing changes in behaviour and performance. I manage a limited training budget stretched to cover the whole staff of an organisation with 86 sites across the country. I ensure we make use of internal and external resources, build up relationships with similar organisations and use these to provide the best possible service and value to over 1100 staff. As a publicly funded body we have to live within our means which becomes more and more challenging, I have to find innovative and creative ways in which to give the organisation the best return
