Having graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Biology, I’ve been steeped deeply in STEM related fields of study and work. I was involved in computational genomic based research in my time at the University of Colorado where I contributed novel genetic data to the National Center of Biotechnology Information that was later published as part of a phylogenetic centric peer reviewed study. Alongside this, I shadowed under a number of orthopedic surgeons at Dallas Sarcoma Associates in Texas and Cornerstone Orthopedics in Denver. During the aforementioned time I was a student athlete as well, as a boxer.With such an involvement in biotechnology and medicine, my interest in the fields stayed with me following my graduation from the University. I pursued the world of medical device firms and currently am now enjoying working and learning the intricacies of the medical device industry with Zimmer Biomet.
