I worked at one of Cementas silo depots alongside the deliverydepartment.Main tasks:- Working as a process operator (discharge cement from dry bulk carriers with a digital control/management system)- Be the point of contact from the ground/port, helping the crew with mooring, connecting the vessel to the shore power grid, connecting the discharging equipment etc.- On-call work, (captain calls on phone a couple of hours before vessel arrival at port)- Repair & maintenance work- Contact with truck drivers/hauliers on a regular basis, making sure they can load their equipage under the silos
