Through our relationships with Metro, the Portland regional government and Recology, a resource recovery company, we are able to divert materials from the “dump” (Metro Central Transfer Station).

Experience with dogs, wedges, pad eyes, jigs, pry bar, drill press, crane operations, and CNC. Communicates effectively, works independently and team player.

Stick, MIG, TIG, Flux Core welding techniques to weld various components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys. Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter. Dismantle metal assemblies or cut scrap metal, using thermal-cutting equipment such as flame-cutting torches or plasma-arc equipment.

Operated manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding. Dismantle metal assemblies or cut scrap metal, using thermal-cutting equipment such as flame-cutting torches or plasma-arc equipment. Ability to do math, i.e. add, subtract, divide and multiply, fractions, and square footage calculations. Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive/Docs.
