Program Manager at Rockwell Collins/ARINC. Managed VHF Air/Ground Domestic Network-North America and Mexico Regions, FAA VHF Extended Range Network (VERN), and FAA AMCS Contract. Oversaw all aspects of daily operations, financial planning, maintenance, customer service, and program personnel.

Responsible for Special Ops Squadron tasked with rapid global deployment and high-level missions critical to US national security. Led over 100 successful flight missions on $155 million aircraft while commanding 8-person flight crews. Coordinated all mission tasks; directed over 90 personnel during training and deployment; and headquarters directed and time sensitive operations. Supervised, counseled, trained and disciplined crew and staff members on daily basis. Served as proctor for multiple college exams helping Non Commissioned Officers achieve their education, career, and life goals. Mentored young airman with leadership potential-shared personal journey from an enlisted Airman to Air Force Special Operations Pilot, educating them on the various paths to becoming a commissioned officer and encouraging them to work hard to achieve their goals. Led weekly staff meetings for key senior leaders and management. Compiled and organized data from each intra-squadron agency into presentation format and presented data to squadron commander and other key leaders.Responsible for managing all performance reports, awards, and decorations for over 90 officer and enlisted personnel. Key tasks included drafting performance reports, awards, decorations, and managing completion schedule for all. Led team of Executive Officers in daily reviews of tasks and projects using Electronic Management Software (EMS) to establish priorities and track the progress of each to ensure timely completion. Briefed squadron commander on project progress and completion rate on a weekly basis and advised the commander on strategic priorities. Reviewed each performance report, decoration, and award before final submission, ensuring quality of final product.

As Executive Officer, tasked with managing multiple high-visibility projects for the squadron commander. Most recently tasked with planning the 7th Special Operations Squadron (7th SOS) 50th Anniversary Heritage Week. Assembled and coordinated project staff, setting up bi-weekly meetings to plan events, budget, logistical issues, establish/evaluate completion schedule and updated key stakeholders on progress. Led team in project budget analysis and identified areas where money could be saved. Interfaced with multiple on and off base agencies, allocating resources and people to organize events and negotiate pricing, saving the squadron over $1,500. Efforts and leadership provided current and former 7th SOS members a historic week of reflection and celebration to honor squadron heritage and fallen comrades. As Executive Officer, also tasked with planning and implementing the 352 Special Operations Group (352 SOG) Introduction to Special Operations course for support personnel. Attended weekly roundtable meetings and led interface between all 352 SOG agencies to discuss and develop course curriculum, training events, schedule, budget, and project implementation. After three months of planning executed first Intro to Special Operations course as an instructor, teaching over thirty new-to-special operations airman and officer support personnel the tenets and expectations of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). To date over 80 new 352 SOG personnel have passed the course transforming them into valuable members of Air Force Special Operations.

Lead Planning Officer for two unprecedented Joint U.S. Special Operations exercises in Greece. Partnered with U.S./Hellenic Army, Navy, and Air Force Special Forces units to accomplish two large-scale exercises within three months. Used 90-day project tracker, planning team, 352 SOG agencies, embassies, and other stakeholders to plan and execute both exercises. Coordinated budget, transportation, lodging, aircraft maintenance, food, and logistics for over 160 352 SOG personnel during exercises. Engaged key host nation personnel and established working relationships with Elefsis Airbase agencies and commanders. Seized opportunity to become expert on Hellenic airspace, training opportunities, airbase operations, and interaction with host nation forces. Worked at length with U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece to establish a tax exemption program for the 352 SOG, saving the group over $12,000 on hotel and rental car taxes. After first exercise was recognized as exercise planning “Subject Matter Expert” by 7th SOS Squadron Commander. Chosen to be Lead Planning Officer for future exercises in Greece.

On second international exercise in Elefsis, Greece, led advanced site survey team tasked with preparing the airbase, host nation leadership, and various other stakeholders for upcoming operations one week prior to exercise kickoff. Travelled to Hellenic Army, Navy, and Air Force Special Forces compounds to interface with unit commanders to coordinate training and exercise plans, requirements, scheduling, operational flow, mission details, and logistics. Became point of contact for Hellenic commanders during exercise. Worked extensively with airbase Security Forces (SF) Commander to assess local criminal and terrorist threat level. Conducted local area reconnaissance and threat assessment with SF Commander and identified danger areas for American personnel. As Operational Security (OPSEC) point of contact, briefed personnel on threats. Coordinated base access for all American personnel.352nd Special Operations Group Foreign Liaison Lead: US Embassy contact for Special Ops exercises. Directed the country clearance, Identification Cards, and access to restricted and controlled areas. Personally invited by U.S. Defense Attaché (DAO) to Embassy in Athens, Greece to discuss future exercise plans in Greece. During two hour meeting briefed DAO on aircraft maintenance needs, bed down requirements, training profiles, airspace needs, and explored possible exercise staging bases/training areas. Hand-picked by Attaché and Hellenic Commanders to be lead officer for future exercises, training, and aircraft maintenance needs for Special Ops.

Lead Pilot responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting long range, day/night, all-weather, infiltration, ex-filtration and resupply of US Special Ops Forces, Helicopter Air-to-Air Refueling and Tilt rotor Air-to-Air Refueling in forward operating and hostile territory in support of global counter-terror operations.

As Lead Planner, carefully managed a budget of $2.1 million by directing and executing multiple joint and international exercises with US Army and Navy Special Operations Forces and European Command allied nations. Attended weekly Commander’s Update Brief with 352 SOG Commander, gathering data on future exercises and accepting exercise project tasks as directed by headquarters AFSOC, U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), and group/squadron commander. Worked with squadron leadership to identify funding data and sources to establish a budget prior to project initiation. Initiated 90-day project planning process using Microsoft Excel to establish an 80 item timeline/checklist to set project goals/milestones and accomplish a multitude of project tasks needed to ensure successful planning and execution of exercises. Assembled and coordinated team of planners assigning individuals with tasks vital to maintaining project timeline and budget requirements. Met daily with planning team to review progress. Interfaced with 352 SOG agencies, U.S. Embassies, U.S. SOCOM customers, host nation customers and other stakeholders to gather data on training requirements, training events, and exercise expectations. Coordinated country entry clearance for large groups of American personnel and multiple aircraft. Oversaw daily operations during exercises, solved logistical issues and gathered feedback from participating units. Used feedback to modify existing plans and mission profiles to better serve special forces users. Held “lessons observed” meetings after every exercise aimed at improving project completion procedures and final product. Efforts led to the flawless execution of multiple, large-scale international exercises, solidifying ties with European Command partner nations and bolstering both U.S. and allied special operations capabilities.

Commanded the $155 million MC-130H Combat Talon II on over 30 flights. Successfully completed grueling 8-month “weed out” training course designed to award prestigious MC-130H Combat Talon II Mission Pilot Qualification to only the most capable pilots. Skilled in advanced night low-level, airdrop, air refueling, and an array of other special operations aviation tactics. Assigned to the elite 7th Special Operations Squadron at RAF Mildenhall, UK.

Completed 8 month C-130H Initial Qualification Course with ease, earning C-130H Pilot Qualification/ L382 Type Rating and learned basic low-level and airdrop tactics and procedures

Aced one year “pressure cooker” Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training course learning visual and instrument flying procedures, formation, and low-level tactics. Studied day and night to earn top spot in graduating class. Outstanding performance, attitude, and warrior mentality in and out of the aircraft; earned selection for duty as an Air Force Special Operations Pilot. Earned coveted U.S. Air Force Pilot Wings, Commercial Pilot License, BE-400, MU-300 Type ratings.

Worked hands-on in all mechanical and technical repairs for 17 $13 million A-10C aircraft. Tasked with managing, issuing, maintaining and tracking over $10K of flight line mechanic equipment; a key linchpin in preventing aircraft Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and maintenance mishaps, effectively keeping all aircraft combat ready and ensuring safe operations. Outstanding performance and 100% equipment accountability during tenure directly resulted in nomination by Commander for placement at US Air Force Academy.
