I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in business administration (finance) in 2006. I began my career in Dallas working in the financial services industry for Goldman Sachs, Nationstar Mortgage and PrimeLending. I started working as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in my wife's hometown of Abilene in 2018. Then in January 2024, I made the move to partner with Raymond James and started VistaCrest Financial.To further my education and enhance my financial expertise, I studied through Wake Forest University and earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in 2021. I also hold the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designations. My commitment to lifelong learning ensures that I remain current with the latest financial strategies and tools to better serve my clients.My wife, Amy, and I have been married since 2015. We met while we were both working at the same company in Dallas. We have been blessed with two children: Jacob and Hannah. Jacob was born in 2017, and he recently started elementary school. Hannah came along in 2019, and she is (and always will be) my little sweetheart. They take up most of my free time, and I love it!Outside of work and family, I like to stay active as much as possible. I have run a lot of half marathons, a handful of full marathons and one half-Ironman triathlon. Amy and I are members of OrangeTheory Fitness here in Abilene, Peloton enthusiasts, and I try to get to Colorado to ski when I can. In the community, I serve on the board of the Abilene Zoological Society, I am a volunteer child advocate for Big Country CASA, and I am Past President of the Texas Exes alumni association for Abilene & Sweetwater.
