Was raised around cars, my father is a self-proclaimed hot rodder. I started holding the flashlight when I was 5 years old while my dad cut a 1970 Charger at the C-pillar and welded a rust-free back half to the car. I bought an 86 Corvette when I was 16 for $3000. Little did I know, in the year I owned it, I had to rebuild almost every moving of that car. I bought a '90 Mustang Coupe years later and did a complete "frame-off" restoration on, not really a frame off because its a unibody car. Went to SIUE for two years to study Mechanical Engineering. It was a lot less mechanical, and a lot more cubicle job field. I then went to SWIC in Granite City and studied Aviation Maintenance under Bob Beckett. Finished the program and passed the certification tests for an A&P licence in 2016. Started at Trans States Airlines in the Interior Department a month later. After 6 months, I was moved into the Engine Shop maintaining GE CF-348C and Rolls-Royce AE3007A1 Engines.
