I’m currently pursuing an MSc in Finance (Investment & Asset Management) at University College Cork, with a focus on financial analysis, equity valuation, and venture capital. My academic background in Economics and Sociology, along with hands-on experience in roles across finance and customer management, has helped me develop a solid foundation in financial modeling, problem-solving, and client relations.I currently work as a Store Supervisor at Spar, where I manage daily operations, lead a team, and ensure excellent customer service. This role has strengthened my leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, while also giving me hands-on experience in managing people and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Balancing this with my academic and extracurricular commitments has further developed my ability to prioritize and perform under pressure.In previous positions, I’ve worked as a Loan Advisor and Sales Coordinator, where I honed my skills in financial technology tools, digital marketing, and customer service. I enjoy using data to support informed decision-making and have a strong interest in venture capital and private equity. I am the current Entertainment Representative for my Master's course in Finance (Investment & Asset Management), my role is to alleviate stress and create a positive, supportive environment for my fellow students. I organize events and activities to foster friendships and build lasting connections as we transition into full-time careers. A key focus of mine is cultivating a diverse network of classmates from various countries, enhancing both the cultural and professional richness of our cohort. By encouraging camaraderie, I aim to help my peers balance academic demands while building a global community.Outside of work, I'm passionate about rugby, having played for UCC and Christian Brothers College, where I was part of the team that won the Senior Cup title in 2019. I also spent two years playing for the Meraloma Rugby Club in Vancouver, Canada, which allowed me to forge lifelong friendships and expand my network with people from diverse backgrounds.
