The statistics are stark: 72% of disabled people report facing a barrier to sport; 54% of non-disabled adults report facing a barrier to sport; 64% of disabled people want to play sport with non-disabled people; and the cost of physical inactivity costs the UK taxpayer £6.5bn a year!PowerHouse Games offer people of all ages the opportunity to play adapted sports, such as boccia, goalball, and sitting volleyball. Our Number One Rule is to "Have Fun!" So far over 3,000 people have taken part in 40+ inclusive events, trying out 11 adapted sports, including 1 new inclusive sport that a pupil created; and Power2Inspire has delivered 230 talks across the country and in the US, engaging with over 33,000 people.
