My agricultural journey began in childhood, and my farming career began 4 plus decades ago. I started farming together with my dad, continued into a partnership with my brother alongside our dad, moved to farming with my son, then on to farming alone. The irrigated farming operation evolved and changed over the years size wise, crop wise and intensity wise, but one thing never changed: the need to manage efficiently and effectively. The work ethic and skills gained provided an excellent background for my venture into municipal politics in an agricultural setting.
