Partnered with teachers to facilitate, motivate, and ensure academic and individual growth for students (>30) coping with learning disabilities. This school implements full inclusion so also had the privilege alongside all of the 8th grade students. Great school and staff specializing in project based learning. As a result am now quite comfortable teaching Science, Math, and Humanities at a Middle School level.

Taught all level classes including CAE and FCE courses. Covered for the Director while in absence. Worked closely with administration observing classes, implementing new academic strategies and programs, planned teacher schedules and worked with teachers to ensure peak academic performance in their classes. Oversaw school to make sure things ran smoothly in teacher, student, administration, and parent relationships. Attended multiple workshops to learn how to implement new academic programs and resources within the school and then helped the teachers adapt to these new structures.

EF Jemursari (Surabaya, Indonesia)/ Sampoerna (CLT)Taught students ranging from preschool to adults. Planned and implemented lesson plans daily for numerous classes of varying levels. Taught Business English with Market Leader for CLT at Sampoerna for employees at levels Beginner – Upper Intermediate.

Taught a variety of classes, ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade, at many different schools. In both districts, I have taught in almost every kind of environment varying greatly in their socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic status. Instructed several classes that were ESL, where students primarily spoke Spanish, and I instructed most lessons in English. Managed numerous classes with students who possessed mild-moderate-severe handicaps. Instructed numerous physical education classes. Studied and implemented lesson plans daily as well as appropriately adjusted them based on time constraints and diversions. Was requested by teachers to return to instruct their classrooms numerous times.

Worked with non-English speakers administering the English fluency test (CELDT)

Supported and delegated duties and responsibilities to 25 staff leaders. Maintained, budgeted, and supplied center with educational supplies, snacks, games, etc. Supervised some 150 students ages K-6th grade and maintained communication with all of the students’ parents. Assessed and resolved any disputes or issues that staff members, students, or parents were concerned with.
