- Provide trade counseling to Southeast Michigan companies to develop and support international market development plans, provide referrals to resource providers to support international marketing objectives, and process requests for MEDC-funded incentives.  - Facilitate robust communication between MEDC, local economic development partners, and Michigan businesses to support regional international trade program.  - Coordinate with Federal, State, and local economic development entities to identify regional international trade priorities and resources, and integrate them with statewide international trade assistance opportunities. - Provide outreach and presentations to business and economic development organizations to promote MEDC international trade programs and services. - Monitor compliance with program requirements and prepare reports tracking and measuring outcomes. - Facilitate export promotion and international trade events (e.g., trade shows and missions, meetings with trade delegations). - Represent MEDC international trade team on selected committees, task forces or forums to support special international trade initiatives and keep current on trade-related regulations, legislation, agreements and programs.
