Extensive experience supervising math teachers, mentoring and coaching in both middle schools and high schools, both traditional and non-traditional, as well as the Common Core curriculum, teaching as an adjunct (How to teach Advanced Placement Calculus and Statistics, and How to teach Algebra and Trigonometry, grades 7-12), Adept at creating a climate of learning for all learners by building trust, using feedback to assess student progress, developing lesson plans based on data analysis, engaging in professional development programs and integrating technology. Before I retired in 2019, I served as an Assistant Principal of mathematics in two schools (1993-2000 and 2000-2019). I was active in the Association of Math Assistant Principals of NYC(served two years as President) and the National Association of Supervisors of Mathematics (served as regional team leader).
