As a teenager I worked in various hospitality positions. This trained me to keep calm under pressure and how to properly interact with customers. After completing my HSC I was required to go back to Singapore to undertake my National Service. I opted and was selected to go through Specialist Command School, and was posted to Military Police Command, Law Enforcement and Ceremonial Company. During this time I was placed in charge of a section, and led my platoon in various operations. I also had to mitigate and settle any conflicts within my platoon.Upon finishing my National Service, I went to work at my former high school's IT department while I waited for University to start. I was taught how to perform repairs for various devices, especially Chromebooks, and assisted the students and staff with any IT problems.I have now since moved to Newcastle and am enrolled in a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering and occasionally work at the Newcastle East Public School Out of School Hours Care.
