John has over 43 years as a real estate and valuation professional in the public and private sector, having performed and managed an extensive cross section of property and related matters for the Queensland Government and Private Sector Entities. He is especially skilled in the management of large and complex property issues and their associated impact on Government’s reputation. John has held the role of the Valuer General of Queensland and Chairman of the Queensland Valuers Registration Board. John was also the General Manager of the Queensland Rail Property Division and responsible for an extensive and highly complex property portfolio. More recently John has provided property project management and associated services in the gas and coal mining resource industry and various government sectors. His experience has highlighted the importance of delivering Government Objectives and a deep understanding of the functions within the property asset management, valuation and acquisition fields necessary to deliver the balance of Government transparency, accountability, return on asset, land owner statutory rights and commercial return.
