With more than 30 years’ experience at top-tier investment banks, I am an acknowledged expert in European and UK macro economics, interest rates, inflation, pensions, and all aspects of monetary and fiscal policy. I am fully media trained and have made frequent TV appearances on Bloomberg, CNBC, Sky News and the BBC, as well as often being quoted in major financial publications including the FT and Wall Street Journal. Many years of analysing and forecasting changes in policy settings and market levels have given me an innate understanding of how interest rates, inflation, central bank, and government policy interact. My extensive experience underpins my ability to add value to global clients by accurately anticipating organisational exposure to changes in policy rates, inflation, bond yields, and Government spending / taxation. As a fixed income analyst with In Touch Capital Markets, I use all my years of experience and ability to rapidly observe and interpret the myriad influences on rates markets and to communicate comprehensive information and insights to a wide range of financial institutions. I am a passionate advocate for children with special needs, provide investment and fundraising advice to the Down's Syndrome Association (who have recently appointed me as an Ambassador), and am a Trustee Governor at a special school in London. I have organised and successfully completed marathons and ultra-marathons that have raised over £350,000 for charities including the Down's Syndrome Association, Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Great Ormond Street Hospital. I am a fluent French speaker and former member of the Mensa High IQ Society.At a personal level, as well as being both highly numerate and highly literate, I am a natural mediator. While I am confident facilitating debate and offering constructive challenge where that might be required, I unfailingly do so with kindness and respect.
