I generally ask lots of questions and whilst this has annoyed some, it has equally helped me to navigate through three broadly successful careers and a fulfilling home life.I spent 8 years in the UK and European Pharmaceutical Industry, in various sales, marketing and management roles. This was followed by 10 years as a small business owner, developing new information based solutions for corporate pharma. In 2001 Rogers Corporation (NYSE:RCI) acquired our group and following a (thoroughly to be recommended) period of early retirement and the joy of spending some years at home watching my son grow, (whilst developing my hockey coaching skills) I returned to to invest and lead a technology start up in the area of metabolic health.Having recently secured our first external funding from commercial interests, we now seek seed funding to develop the digital health model for metabolic health systems.

Never heard of a human energy disorder well - think obesity (energy surplus), fatigue ( energy deficit) and diabetes (energy production).ETS and the parent group Lionstar Technologies Pte, have taken a standard research technology Indirect Calorimetry and developed a simple system for practitioners and retail use. ECAL ETS is currently undergoing validation studies and is now commercially available.

Svp EuropeRogers Mis 2000 - 2002Following the successful trade sale of Medical Education Network to Rogers Publishing, a division of ROGERS Inc. (NYSE:RCI). I led the consolidation of 8 independent licensed operational businesses into 1 consolidated group, headquartered in the UK and reporting to President of the publishing division.Additionally I set up and led LifeLong Learning Partnership(LLP) in conjunction with Dr Malcolm Kendrick, as a JV partnership with Rogers Publishing to develop and provide CPD programmes for European Medical Specialists. Our lead project was the European Society of Cardiology's online learning and accreditation portal, which went online at the end of 2001. Similar projects were also established with 5 other European Medical Societies at the time of my leaving.

In 2001 when the group was acquired by Rogers Publishing a division of Rogers Inc. (NYSE: RCI) annualised turnover was in excess of $50m. This growth was achieved through a fundamental re-positioning of MEN from conference reporter, to Medical Intelligence Broker and Medical Education Company. This change, delivery and success was orchestrated and driven by my team with supportive colleagues in New York and Toronto.In 1993 I acquired key licences to access the MEN database and provide services to many European markets. Crucially, I was also granted the licence to access and develop business globally to Global marketing and regulatory operations of the major pharmaceutical companies. This access allowed MEN develop high value centralised services.
