The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team was responsible for development and implementation of IAM solutions, providing software and infrastructure as a service to the entire enterprise.- Led team in design, implementation, and support of second factor authentication infrastructure (SafePassTM) using one-time-password cards, SMS, and email. The system was built to scale for high availability and volume using multiple data centers, BigIP load balancing, WebLogic clusters, Oracle RAC, and master-to-master database synchronization, securing transactions worth billions of dollars daily.- Headed effort to implement Korean regulatory security requirements for corporate banking application. The effort included assembling an infrastructure and developing a web service layer to integrate a vendor product into the corporate banking payment process in three weeks to meet release schedule. The infrastructure utilized J2EE, SOAP, WebSphere and Oracle.- Conceived secure password delivery solution for corporate banking application using synchronized web and phone sessions (out-of-band authentication). The system was implemented using J2EE, WebSphere, IBM MQ Series, and Oracle. Communicated with an external web service to place phone calls (SaaS).- Designed, implemented, and supported two major versions of the largest private industry PKI in the financial industry. The first version utilized Java, CORBA, and Netscape LDAP Directory. The second version was implemented using J2EE, SOAP, WebLogic, and CA LDAP Directory.- Wrapped native vendor libraries using JNI.

ntercap Financial was a start up focussed on end-of-day processing for option trading.- Focussed development on critical features, reducing release cycle, and aligning better with business expectations utilizing agile concepts. - Optimized end-of-day option trading analysis using WebLogic, TopLink, and Oracle. Reduced processing time from over three hours to less than 20 minutes.

Worked on team responsible for development and support of Corporate and Commercial Banking application.- Refactored and expanded multiple C++ CORBA servers to increase feature set and improve supportability.

The Strategic Features Department was responsible for the development fixed network components for Nextel’s cellular network.- Designed and implemented mobile application that enabled over-the-air programming of Nextel handsets using WAP/WML and Java. The application was demoed to Motorola’s CEO and executive management and significantly contributed to establish OOP in the Strategic Features department.- Lead the development of a high volume real time access gateway for the Nextel network. The project was a pilot for the Specification and Description Language (SDL) within the Nextel division. SDL is used to specify and describe the behavior of event driven and distributed systems from which code is generated.

VAS develops state of the art digital video compression solutions for video surveillance since 1994.- Designed, implemented, and tested video surveillance solution utilizing standard PC and VM64/256 compression card. The system was installed at ATMs, Banks, and Gas stations and led VAS to profitability.- Participated in design of VM64/256 M-JPEG compression cards and TBC video multiplexer.
