Originally from Salem, Oregon, John Wyland has been with the JT Smith since 2005. During his tenure, he has enjoyed many leadership positions including serving on the management team for the development of the 2012 Street of Dreams at Teresa’s Vineyard. Now as COO, John provides leadership, management, and vision to deliver exceptional operational outcomes that drive the company’s quality and profitability. John’s integrity, organizational abilities, and strong interpersonal skills have helped the company deliver quality products on time and on budget. Responsible for managing day-to-day operations and carrying out the vision of JT Smith, John oversees the operations of many of the company’s departments including land development, new project and loan procurement, vertical construction, budgeting, contracts, plans and permits, and the sales team. Happily married to the lovely Rebecca, he is a father four times over: Taylor, Ben, Brooks, and the newest addition, Aubrey Rose. Like many Pacific Northwest families, they enjoy time outdoors and visiting family and friends. On the weekends, they can be found on a lake on their wake boat in summer or on the ski slopes in winter.
