Being an HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) driver has advantages and challenges, like any job. The opportunity to travel and see different parts of the country while also providing for my family made it an appealing choice after leaving the military. Although the hours were long and often required working outside of normal business hours, this was something I was accustomed to from my time in the military. Despite the demanding nature of the job, I enjoyed my experience as an HGV driver and looked back on it fondly.
