I worked with Robin Hartfiel, Bob Althoff, and Eric Anderson, to relaunch DEALERNEWS in 2018, and served as Publisher of the new DEALERNEWS from it’s inception in October 2018, until early 2020, when I decided to step back a bit because of some health issues.

Retired on June 1, 2000. Diagnosed with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in June,1999, by Dr. Stanley van den Noort, world renowned MS researcher at UC Irvine,(1930-2009), and he recommended I retire. I waited a year until June 1, 2000, (10 years to the day that I was publisher of DN, and 17 years at DN), and called it a career.

I was the youngest man to be given the title of Construction Loan Officer in the company, and to my knowledge, the state of California. I was 25. In 1981, Imperial Bank was the largest construction lender in California for residential construction loans. We were doing over $40,000,000 a month loans.
