John T. Ablamsky III is a Tax Partner with more than 15 years of experience in tax planning and consulting. He specializes in corporate, partnership, and individual tax compliance, tax planning, estate and trust planning, and multi-state taxation. His clients range from start-ups to multibillion dollar funds with a wide variety of trading strategies.John has worked extensively with financial services clients, such as private equity funds, on- and off-shore investment partnerships/companies, fund of funds, investment advisors and the ancillary entities associated with these types of investments, including feeder funds and blocker corps.He also assists fund managers and CFOs in navigating the complex tax rules facing hedge and private equity funds. His deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities at the level of the partner, management company, and GP enable him to produce specialized integrated tax planning opportunities.He received a BA from Binghamton University and an MBA in Accounting from Baruch College.
