I am a member of the Real Estate Finance group, where I focus my practice on representing major banks and other capital providers in connection with financing the acquisition and development of commercial real estate, including portfolio and syndicated loans and in the origination, acquisition and sale of complex commercial mortgage loans.Representative transactions include:* A $95M Syndicated Construction Loan for a global delivery services company in New York City, New York, represented lender* A $50M Revolving Line of Credit secured by a pool of Real Property located across the United States, represented lender* A $20M transaction for the acquisition of an apartment complex in Mesa, Arizona, represented lender* A $29M transaction for the acquisition of land and construction of a multi use retail and apartment complex in the Orlando, Florida area, represented lenderPrior to joining Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, I represented clients in the financial services, insurance and real estate industries, concentrating my practice on bankruptcy, creditor's rights and commercial litigation. I represented financial institutions and corporate clients with respect to matters, including mitigation and litigation, foreclosure defense, loan and fraud investigation, business ventures, problem loan workouts, lien priority litigation and acquisition of loans in bulk. Specifically, I focused on the representation of special servicers and secured and unsecured creditors in the following types of cases: • Commercial foreclosures, receiverships, breach of contract litigation, asset recovery matters, lender liability defense litigation and fraudulent transfer litigation• Bankruptcy court matters and adversary proceedings• Out-of-court restructurings and workout-related mattersIn 2013 and 2015, I was named to the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list for Southern California and Pennsylvania, respectively.
