I am an experienced Architect, having performed a variety of Enterprise & Technical Architecture roles in large organisations for more than a decade. Although familiar and comfortable with formal architecture approaches, I pride myself on pragmatic and results-oriented architecture, providing consultation and guidance to colleagues wherever I can.Having won the Nissan Chairman's Innovation Award in 2017, I spent several months working in a startup lab in Paris. I have a good, practical understanding of formal Innovation methodologies. I also won the Made in IRIS Award in 2022 for my proposal on API Developer Ecosystem.I have hands-on practical experience with a wide variety of technologies and platforms, including AWS, Machine Learning, Docker and Microservices architecture. I am not an "ivory tower" architect; I like to experiment and deeply understand the concepts I am working on. This has seen me build two complete API Management suites (based on Apigee) in two different companies, including the creation of the framework, training material and deployment pipelines. I have also built and operated a Customer Identity Management platform (based on Okta).
