John Fiedler is president of Oreon Marketing Science, a private consultancy located in North Idaho which specializes in providing consulting and marketing research to a broad range of clients. Among it specialties are actionable marketing research findings and state of the art data collection methodologies for complex business issues.John Fiedler and his partner, Lesley Bahner, founded Oreon in 1999 after selling their highly successful marketing consultancy firm, POPULUS (www.populus.com) that same year. John and Lesley founded POPULUS in 1984 and oversaw its growth for fifteen years during which their firm undertook many projects around the world in both the private and public sectors. Until 2014 he was Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer for Twelve Americans, Inc. which, in a joint venture with Ipsos Media, offers Brand Match, a syndicated market research service which links consumer’s perceptions of brands and corporations, public personalities, and media properties including television channels and programs. In addition to being a widely recognized and thoughtful analyst, John is a persuasive presenter. He has presented the results of his research to the senior management of many Fortune 100 companies, in over twenty countries, and to three U.S. presidents. He currently serves as Immediate Past Board Chair of Catholic Charities of Idaho and as Treasurer of the Collectors Forum of the Boise Art Museum.
