Contract assignment at the Chrysler Tech Center in Auburn Hills, MI.

On-site assignment at Chrysler Quality Engineering Center in Auburn Hills. Review warranty returns with suppliers and Chrysler engineering. Identify new emerging field issues rapidly, facilitate root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.

· Design / Release responsibility for exterior components on the Chrysler 300C, Dodge Charger and Magnum. · Manage changes and quality improvements with suppliers.· Since February of 2008 I was assigned to a “customer satisfaction” team responsible for improving warranty corporate wide by reacting to field issues. Rapid root cause analysis and containment followed by permanent corrective action. This requires a good working relationship with our assembly plants as well as the supplier base.

· Main point of contact between the customer, sales staff and manufacturing. All customer requirements are defined and communicated to the proper department, be it design, plant management, quality or shipping.· Order all material and tooling required by manufacturing to complete the customer requirements.· Track changes and job progress. Report timing updates to the customer.

· On-site assignment at DaimlerChrysler Jeep headquarters. · Lead dimensional reviews and advise on GD&T/datum schemes to insure successful manufacture, gaging and assembly. Manage dimensional changes with suppliers· Analyze data, inquire on discrepancies and report on potential dimensional or manufacturing problems. Make recommendations for continuous improvement.· Measure critical gap/flush objectives during launch. Make engineering recommendations to correct dimensional issues.

· Responsible for the entire quality system of the company, from QS-9000 implementation to the final inspection of every job shipped out the door. Worked directly with customers and our production personnel on job feasibility and product quality planning. Approve control plans, PFMEA’s, GD&T layouts and oversee in-plant product buy-off.

· 11-93 through 5-95 I worked as an assistant to the quality manager and learned to run a Numerex DCC CMM with Unimeasure software.· 5-95 through 1998 I was fully responsible for running the CMM using PC-DMIS™ software.· Job entailed first piece buy-off, in process inspection and final approval for shipment. PPAP and GP-11 submissions done on a regular basis. Statistical analysis and capability studies performed. Models, Tools, Fixtures and parts required CMM verification. Applying and understanding customer GD&T requirements.

· 1991-1992 Dispatched over –the-road drivers terminal to terminal. Responsible for specific geographical regions and timely delivery of freight.· 1992-1993 Contracted to Buick City Assembly plant. Responsible for a crew of 5 people tracking all inbound freight. Expedited any late shipments.
