About John Antony
Over 7 years of experience in data analysis, data science, product management and customer acquisition with companies like Gigamon, IBM, Progress Software and Savvion.I joined Gigamon (Santa Clara, California) as a Marketing Data Analyst where I was managing the reporting and marketing business intelligence tool. I was also responsible for marketing and sales analytics on salesforce.com and Oracle Eloqua. I joined IBM as a Product Manager for WebSphere and my background in BPM and ETL gave me a great start in my new role. IBM acquired Worklight – a Mobile Application Development Platform, which gave me advanced learnings on enterprise mobility. Enterprise mobility was booming for BFSI in India and this helped me explore the world of consumer mobile banking apps, tab banking apps, Loan Agents apps. I consulted and closed the largest software contract in my career with a bank that required enterprise integration, mobile apps, business processes. I functioned as a business analyst by understanding customer requirements and translating it to the development team for product implementation. I am in my final quarter of my Master’s in Information Systems degree in Santa Clara University graduating with a 3.5 GPA. I intend to complete my Masters program with a deeper understanding of data analytics, data science and cloud. I am now actively looking for full-time positions starting April 2017.
