After 2 years of full time work experience I had finally made a decision to go to school at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018 to work towards a degree in a brand new field. Four years and one epidemic later I have graduated cum laude with my b.s. in mechanical engineering. I am now a mechanical engineer asc. with Lockheed Martin Space with experience using SolidWorks, Creo, MATLAB, Python and working in a metal shop. Even though it was a risk to leave a full time job, it has already produced great and life changing rewards. John F. Kennedy once said "We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others, too."
