As a First Class BSc Accounting and Finance graduate, I have gained experience providing audit services to the National Health Service (NHS) and various city councils. I have since focused my education on financial and real-world business solutions. I am particularly interested in collaborating with others to solve individual and business financial challenges whilst driving positive change. Living in Manchester has always been a source of joy, and I have enjoyed giving back to my community through regular volunteering. This attitude is how I live my ubuntu value of promoting our interconnectedness as human beings. My passion for social good and helping individuals in and around my local community makes studying accounting and finance at one of its prestigious universities a natural choice. Being a father is at the core of my being and is the most essential thing in my life. I aim to support and encourage everyone, just as I would my child, to help them achieve their dreams and aspirations. This selflessness is a valuable part of my being, which I can utilise when advising businesses and individuals on new ways to innovate and problem-solve. My year on placement and three-month summer internship were invaluable in enhancing my skills to assist businesses in planning and managing their finances successfully. It also helped me develop my technical and interpersonal abilities while gaining insights into a business's micro and macro environments. With a passion for mentoring and a solid commitment to providing excellent customer service, I am confident in my abilities and always eager to learn.Currently working as a Graduate Finance Assistant with the Capital Finance team at Manchester City Council.
