• Carry out deck lifts around the rig with 35t and 75t lattice boom cranes along with gantry pipe deck crane
• Carry out routine checks on the crane in accordance with the maintenance procedures and pre-start check list
• Carry out routine first line crane maintenance duties including greasing, lubrication, oil changes, filter changes and other crane machinery lubrication duties in accordance with the maintenance routines, Manufactures.
• Maintain cranes in a clean, tidy and where applicable watertight condition, including cabs, machinery housings and external surfaces.
• Assist maintenance personnel in routine maintenance and repair activities.
• Pipe deck management.

North Sea

• Carry out safe and proper slinging of loads lifted and moved by deck cranes and other lifting equipment directed by the Crane Operator.
• Safe handling loads during lifting operations
• Bank crane using correct signals and commands
• Organize deck under direction of Crane Operator
• Maintain decks and landing areas.
• Maintenance work /painting.

• Combat Engineer
• Demolitions – Trained in the use of explosives for demolition purpose. From the calculations to the setting out off the explosive charge.
• Bridge Engineering – Plan and execute the construction off road and foot bridges.
• Watermanship – Handling small boats, use of outboard motors, and safety on water.
• Field Engineering – Trained in operation of cutting tools, tirfor jacks, knots and lashings along with SWR’S and the use of aerial ropeway.
• Water Supply – Use of pumps, purification sets, storage tanks, rigid and flexible pipework.
