I am serving as Chair of the Board beginning in January 2019, and on the Executive Committee as an independent Director.Saint Joseph's Hospital has a 145-year legacy of outstanding patient care, and was recently named one of America's 50 Best Hospitals, placing it in the top 1% in the nation for consistent clinical quality care. It is the largest hospital in downtown Denver, with over 20,000 annual admissions. During my tenure as Chair of the Nominating Committee, we have added more than half of our current Directors with outstanding and high profile business and community leaders, and with significant diversity.

• As President of this Colorado-based organization, I was responsible for organizing quarterly Board meetings, developing the meeting agendas, developing and implementing proper corporate governance, making presentations on all relevant strategic activities, and reporting on financial results at the Board meetings. I also worked closely with the independent auditors and served on the compensation and retirement plan committees.• Development of many new corporate strategies and led the growth, diversification and transformation of this successful private company now serving the nuclear, aerospace and rapidly expanding commercial automation markets.• Negotiated and integrated successful Paradigm and EPD acquisitions in the aerospace and nuclear industries, and developed a greenfield start-up NFT Automation business with the support of Rockwell Automation. These additions enabled significant diversification to reduce risk, and entry into important complimentary markets for the Company by leveraging its core competencies. • Recruited and developed an outstanding Senior Management team capable of leading tremendous additional growth for the Company in the future.• Negotiated the favorable purchase, creative financing and long-term leases of “world class” facilities in Golden, CO and Carlsbad, NM, and purchase of additional equipment to increase capabilities and capacity to enable significant additional future growth at NFT.• Achieved significant recognition for the Company to enhance its positioning in the markets it serves, and increase the value of its brands. • Responsible for growing and managing various aspects of the highly profitable Investment Management & Trust businesses during my tenure, including full profit and loss responsibilities for First Investment Group, Retirement Plan Services, Corporate Trust, Personal Trust and development of the new College Savings business.• Oversight of significant growth within the Wealth Management Group division of Assets Under Management (AUM), including many strategic hires, new product offerings and new business lines.• Assumed overall cross-functional relationship management duties for many of the Bank’s largest customers.• Developed substantial new business, including many new large corporate and institutional relationships, and the greenfield 529 College Savings Plan business that represented a tremendous amount of new AUM.• Recognized consistently by First National Bank of Omaha executive management for strong performance, including membership in its President’s Club.

I have served as an independent Director for the Arthritis Foundation of Nebraska (Past Chair), Eppley Cancer Center (Past Chair), Doane University Alumni Council (Past President), Community Health Charities (formerly CHAD), Mid-City Optimists (former Treasurer), Des Moines Development Corporation and Junior Achievement of Central Iowas (former Treasurer). In these capacities, I also worked closely with various Board committees and task forces on strategy, Audit Committees, Nominating and Corporate Governance and other important issues.

• Co-founded and developed a successful, rapidly growing chain of franchised retail dry cleaning locations, before the sale of the Company to a larger and more mature competitor.• Developed a unique and proven franchise program for rapid market expansion throughout the U.S., leveraging my extensive franchise consulting expertise at Deloitte.• Served on Board of Directors, Executive management team and as Chief Financial Officer, working closely with the independent auditors. Also, served on the Audit Committee, Governance Committee and other ad hoc committees for compensation, strategy development and succession planning.

• Led all global operations of this rapidly growing biotech company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, including manufacturing, business development, customer relations and various administrative functions required to deliver on the sale of sophisticated research instruments and a recurring annual revenue stream for consumables products and service contracts.• Managed numerous direct reports throughout the world.• Implemented a global quality initiative, including certification under GMP and ISO at selected manufacturing sites.• Spearheaded design and development of three new production facilities totaling over 100,000 square feet.• Actively participated in the Company's Initial Public Offering (IPO) on NASDAQ, presented at many public Board and Committee meetings, and spearheaded various mergers and acquisitions, including a significant acquisition requiring deal structuring, due diligence, financing, integration of the acquired companies and changing of corporate culture.

• Served a number of major global audit and tax clients on numerous business and accounting issues. Many of these multi-national clients were in the process of establishing a cohesive and fully functioning presence in this fascinating new economy and growing region in Central and Eastern Europe. These companies were primarily involved in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries, and I worked closely with them in dealing with many business, legal, administrative, international trade, tax and regulatory issues. This often involved serving as a laison with Executives, Board Committees or other trusted advisors, or being a boardroom participant.• Actively participated in leading an aggressive increase in annual revenue of this regional professional services firm; tripled profitability over same period.• Established a presence in new geographies to expand coverage required for multinational clients in the region to 17 countries.• Grew professional headcount significantly in many countries, including recruitment of many senior level international lawyers and other business executives.

• Sold and managed select franchise consulting projects of over $1 million annually, including many high profile engagements with well-known multinational companies. Also, served as an expert witness on several franchise litigation cases.• Co-authored two books regarding the financial and tax aspects of franchising.• Served as an independent Director on the Board of Directors of the International Franchise Association, and as Chairman of the Council of Franchise Suppliers.

• Served as lead client service partner for many large corporate and growing primarily Iowa-based middle market companies in a number of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail, franchising and service, and became a valued business advisor on a number of diverse issues and business opportunities for these organizations. This frequently involved presentations and reports to various Boards of Directors and Audit Committees regarding important audit and tax issues.• More than doubled annual revenue of the practice and substantially improved profitability with strong net profit margins through my departure date.• Doubled multi-functional professional headcount over the period.
