‘I’m always ready to learn, but not always ready to be taught’. I love this line from Churchill because I believe that learning is the key to a good life. Life is change, change is learning, and learning faster than others is the way to create a sustainable edge. Which makes for exciting times because learning is changing. Acquiring knowledge has never been easier. And yet knowledge itself rarely leads to permanent change... we know what to do but we don't know how to do it.Instead, my experience is that genuine transformation emerges through our own experience. Through insight from within rather than knowledge from without. Or as Churchill elegantly put it... though learning rather than teaching.‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾★ My purpose is to facilitate learning which transforms lives & organisations.
