I am a partner with Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment firm. I represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour law. I regularly defend businesses against single plaintiff employment claims and wage-hour class/PAGA actions. Much of my time is also spent advising clients on day-to-day employment issues -- topics such medical leaves, pay issues, performance management, employee complaints, terminations, handbook preparation, and severance agreements. I am a regular employment law speaker for trade associations and clients, including anti-harassment training as required for managers/supervisors in California. I've presented at the AAHOA Convention on how employers can avoid common employment lawsuits and at the California Lodging Industry Association's annual conference on new California employment laws.Prior to becoming an attorney, I worked for a hotel management company that focused on restoring profitability to hotels and motels. My experience in this industry has allowed me to better understand the needs of my hospitality clients.
