Dungeons and Drafts does organized play events at breweries, bars, and restaurants where people but tickets to play Dungeons and Dragons with a paid Dungeon Master. I prepare adventures and then run them for customers. This involves helping new players learn how to play, and facilitating small groups who have often never met to work together and find chemistry through play.

I run the cafe at the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. I open the cafe, work with chefs on the menu each week and help prep the sandwiches and entrees. I work the register, fill food and drink orders, and close the cafe as well. I also help with catering events as the Penn Museum is an old and architecturally important building that hosts lots of weddings as well internal University of Pennsylvania events.

Cashier, menu development, food preparation. Worked with owners during the pandemic to streamline the menu and figure out how best to navigate an industry that changed completely overnight.

This job began as a part time afterschool supervisor role. It later evolved into a full time teaching and technician job that involved one on one learning with autistic children ages 2 to 9. I helped with programs that were educational as well as occupational, from literacy to fine motor and speech to learning how to brush teeth and clip nails. My favorite part of the job, and what I did most, was integration. I hung out one on one with a child in a standard preschool class to help them navigate the challenges of being in a largely neuro-typical classroom.Additionally, this job involved collecting behavioral data using a simple ipad app that facilitated easy data collection without interfering with teaching. Things like aggression, self injury, bolting, property destruction are all very common and it helps to document when they happen so that the data can be viewed and analyzed. An uptick in aggression could coincide with problems at home or illness, etc. Most importantly, this data helped us to better accomodate the individual needs of the children. I ultimately left here because while I loved working with the kids, I prefer a more naturalistic approach to teaching with elements of behavioral analysis included rather than being the main teaching method.

Six week on site work study program with week long workshops. In exchange for room, board, and free classes I worked as a full time cafeteria cook, studio assistant, and assisted with housekeeping every week as new group of students came in. Developed weekly menus, worked to prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the workshop students.

Prepped food for the day, sliced meat and built sandwiches. Worked the register.

Assisted my professor in fabricating a custom kettle cooker, a welding suspension rig, and renovating his upstairs apartment. Work included cutting and milling steel, welding aluminum, mixing and pouring concrete.
