I come from a background of working as a youth helping in the family business. I was pretty happy when I was told I would only be working “Half Days”. Unfortunately my happiness was short lived since my first day of work was from 7:00 AM until 7:00PM and when I asked what happened to working half days, I was reminded that there are 24 hours in a day!As a result I learned about the amount of effort it actually takes to accomplish something worthwhile.I was then, as I am now, an excellent strategist. As a kid, I loved strategy games and remember hardly ever losing. As I got older, I learned that I could do more in less time if I was smart about how I approached the work.Team Leadership, Business Strategy, Process ImprovementMy first position out of college was as a Systems Analyst where I tore apart the operations of manually-run businesses and streamlined them in order to automate all the processes. It was at that point in my life when I learned that I realize great reward from helping people optimize their business processes, operations and procedures.Throughout my career, I have retained the skill to analyze why certain processes work and why some do not.
