My professional career began with the practice of public accounting in 1971. I enrolled in The University of Texas School of Law in 1973. Since obtaining my law degree, my professional experience has included the practice of tax law, administrative law, real estate transactional and development law (including the preparation of private placements of securities in the oil and gas, and real estate areas), construction and commercial litigation, and estate planning. Since 1989 my practice has been concentrated in commercial litigation, although I continue to practice in non-litigation areas, drawing upon all my past experience in representing my clients. Throughout my career, my goal has always been to provide the best representation for my clients, taking into account the risks and uncertainties of litigation in advising them when disputed or contested matters are involved.Specialties: Practice currently concentrated in the areas of commercial litigation, contested probate and estate matters, construction litigation, and real estate development. Experienced in areas of estate planning, securities law, intellectual property law, and transactional practice (e.g., real estate, and contract negotiations).
