- My current routine responsibilities include plant monitoring of key process parameters as part of plant optimization to uphold plant reliability. As well as conducting equipment performance evaluations and upholding process safety initiatives.- As part of multiple plants turnarounds, including M5000’s 5400MTPD methanol plant, ammonia and melamine plants, I have performed as a member of the process engineering team toward inspection/evaluation of vessels & columns, heat exchangers, rotating equipment, and other plant equipment. I have also actively participated in catalyst loading/unloading activities along with catalyst reduction for multiple reactors and reformers.- Active participation in process hazard identification strategies including Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Operational and Process Risk Assessments (OPRA), Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), and others, to identify critical safety risks and mitigation techniques for safe field practices.- Trained in plant-based activities including operational protocols, safety guidelines, and on-site execution.

- Key role in a team of technical engineers specializing in process design and life cycle assessments for the project “Pathways to Sustainable Methanol Operations using Gas-Heated Reforming (GHR) Technologies”, in direct collaboration with Johnson Matthey.- Successfully proposed modelling frameworks for a GHR lead methanol process utilizing AspenTech simulation software.- Analyzed energy efficiencies and economic viabilities of GHR, steam methane reforming (SMR), and autothermal reforming (ATR) technological pathways to methanol.- Evaluated environmental performance of GHR compared to SMR, ATR through Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and monetized externality considerations.

- Co-authored several journal publications outlined in the achievements section.- Collaborated with engineering professionals on the research and development of established & emerging industrial processes with the purpose of approaching globally sustainable process routes. - Designed, modelled, and optimized entire industrial processes by process simulation software. - Data analysis conducted through economic evaluations of CAPEX and OPEX to minimize annualized costs and maximize profitability. - Conducted Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to realize environmental burdens and develop mitigation measures to optimize process emissions. - Extensively utilized Microsoft Office programs for report writing, spreadsheet calculations and team collaboration. - Performed lab-based assessments for students in groups of 20+ students on a weekly basis.

- Gained familiarity with risk assessments and process safety protocols through participation in routine Hazard and Operability Studies and Layer of Protection Analyses. - Ensured optimal equipment operation and stream quality through daily testing and analysis of key points within the facility. This includes: ~ Gas Chromatography analysis. ~ Amine Concentration tests~ Acid Gas Loading tests~ Bacteria Growth tests and others.

- Successfully updated Process Flow Diagrams to reflect modern operation of various units within the facility- Designed and initiated implementation on a scope of work to facilitate a level transmitter install on an amine sump. - Assisted the mechanical and electrical engineers with routine maintenance and Safety Instrument Systems backup and cleanup.

- Involved in management, planning, and leading a two-week programme centered around team-building activities, social & communicative skills, problem-solving activities and more, for groups of 30+ top performing S.E.A students as part of Atlantic's Point Fortin's Finest Programme.
