I have been living in the United States for the past seven years, now I am back home in the U.K. and am eager to start a new career.Whilst in the U.S. I achieved a degree in Mass Communications focusing on filming and editing for news, documentary, short film and advertisement. I also gained an internship at a production house who later hired me on as a contract grip and camera operator. During this time I also freelanced video editing for multiple clients in the U.S. and U.K.As a freelance video editor I have learnt the importance of time management and organization from working multiple jobs at a time. I also understand the importance of a deadline and how social media plays a bigger role in marketing a product than ever before. I have experience in re-editing footage for different platforms, such as Instagram, Youtube and websites, as well as creating different formats, videos, stills, gifs and so on.I own and operate the Adobe Creative Cloud and have a great understanding of After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop, as well as working knowledge of Illustrator and other apps.
