I’m a BS Computer Engineering student at MSOE, graduating in May 2022. I have diverse, team-based project experience both in and out of the classroom. Skills in C, C++, Rust, Java, VHDL. Currently working as a software engineer at Summa Financial Technology.Like a lot of kids, when I was growing up, I was always curious about how computers and electronics worked. I wanted to see how they work, so I opened as many things as I could, including calculators and old computers. However, opening them up didn’t reveal too much, but I started to learn about the inner workings in high school, where I first learned programming and digital logic. I had a lot of fun learning and programming, and it was then that I knew I wanted to work with computers. Attending MSOE turned out to be a great decision because of all the hands-on work that started in my first year. For my Senior Design project, I am working on a team of 4 to build a fully automated hydroponic system that can be used inside the home with IoT support. I am currently writing the low-level software to handle the automation as well as the server to support a mobile app. Outside of MSOE, I am creating emulators for the Gameboy and Gameboy Advance.
