As a recently promoted shop floor supervisor, my duties are to make sure that the shop floor is tidy and show that it is of paramount importance that all employees are keeping their areas neat and clean. I take on a lot of responsibility in this role because if employees don’t do their daily tidying duties, I am accountable for giving out warnings and holding meetings to make sure everyone understands their job role and how important it is that a level of tidiness is kept at all times as it’s extremely unprofessional for a shop to look dirty and uncared for. I take my job very seriously but at the same time, the workers adore me because I treat them all fairly and in a manner of respect.My previous role with BST Fabrics Ltd required a lot of customer service skills and I am still fulfilling all of the responsibility of my previous role as well as my newly promoted one and I continue to give my customers the greatest experience they could possibly imagine in a fabric shop because regardless of what my role is, I take an extreme amount of pride in my customer service and how the company comes across to the public.

As a sales manager for BST Fabrics Ltd my Main duties include the distribution of fabrics to customers (carrying very heavy fabrics around the shop floor, unrolling them and taking off what the customer requires), stock checks of the warehouse, ordering materials from suppliers and participating in promotional videos using Facebook live. Customer service is a huge part of my job as I talk to numerous customers throughout my day and each have their own expectations of me as a manager and also the company. They put their trust in me to make sure their products are to the standard they expect. I am also in charge of generating new business, promoting the company and expanding the customer base.
