I've been designing and making games on my own for 9 years, professionally for 2, completing 10 games so far; most recently this year having one launched in the maritime education sector.I am a vehement team-worker who loves nothing more than a creative and open team working environment. Despite my passion for pushing a team project through to the end I'm comfortable and capable of working alone, having developed most of my games singlehandedly. I am well versed in almost all aspects of game design. During my last job as Lead Developer on a professional training simulator project I did Game Design (Unity), Programming (C#), 3D Modelling and CAD work (Blender), Web Design (Tovuti LMS), Animation (Unity and Blender), and Project Management (Trello and Discord).I began at the company as a web developer, but after seeing the potential a simulator would have for the company, I put my years of game development experience to the test and developed and presented a demo for a ship simulator. They immediately put me in charge of my own division of the company, creating high quality digital content to aid the lecturers in presenting and teaching for the cadets, and to aid the cadets in their learning experience. I began as solo developer for the project, but within a few months I was put in charge of conducting interviews and building my own team to get the project over the line. By the end of my time at the company I was Lead Developer for a team consisting of programmers, game designers, and 3D modelers, but I continued getting my hands dirty, working on every asset of the project to the end. Before I lead a team as lead designer, I previously worked in the events management industry. In a similar story, I started by getting interviewed for the post of Social Media Manager, before getting hired to work on online and digital events. After pitching the concept of customizable mini-games for clients, I ended up becoming the full-time developer on a football game project where clients (football clubs) could have their strips on the characters and would be presented as entertainment post-business meetings. In my time in game design and development I have worked extensively with programs including Unity, Unreal, Blender, Maya, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Marvelous Designer. Creating games and all that goes into them.
